Since assuming the role of Director General in 2016, Professor Kreiss led Sheba’s transformation in line with the “City of Health” model, which reimagines medical centers as extensive hubs encompassing patient care, medical innovation and research facilities – all aimed toward creating more sustainable and patient-centric healthcare.
In recognition of his activities, Prof. Kreiss was listed as the 5th most influential person in Israel in 2018 by TheMarker business newspaper and was included on the Jerusalem Post’s list of the 50 Most Influential Jews in the world in both 2019 and 2020.
